The Caucasus Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to the Rooms Hotel Kazbegi. Nestled in a valley in Northern Georgia, the alpine retreat offers panoramic views to be enjoyed on the expansive deck or indoors.
The cuisine offered honours traditional Georgian dishes inspired by the mountainous terrain alongside European fare. The chefs work with the region, collaborating with suppliers in the local town of Stepantsminda to serve seasonal dishes passed down through generations to a new audience.
The sweeping terrace extends across the entire length of the hotel and provides the perfect vantage point from which to take in the rugged surroundings and ridges that divides two continents.
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with sunlight and bring the mountainous landscape inside. Designed with rustic minimalism, all rooms are defined by a neutral colour palette and natural materials such as the local, 150-year-old oak used for the minimalist furnishings and wood flooring. Rooms feature a writing desk and an inviting armchair. The wooden flooring extends into the bathrooms, which are fitted with signature rainfall showers.
